Read in one sitting as could not put it down. The characters are all so interesting and believable. The story is very intriguing and compelling, It keeps you guessing what event could possibly have happened to Worthy on DDay that made him want to return to Normandy. The family dynamics are priceless and Worthy is certainly deserving of his name! A very worthwhile read.

I truly enjoyed this book. It was beautifully written and kept me engaged from start to finish. The blend of romance, mystery, well-researched historical detail, and the realistic portrayal of family life made it a rich and rewarding read.

Durkin’s Journey was my first Tim McGee novel, and it won’t be my last. His vivid descriptions brought places like Florida, Chicago, and New York to life, and even made me want to visit places I’ve never been, like Holland, MI and the Gower Peninsula. I also connected deeply with the main character’s struggles in the corporate world, a journey many of us can relate to. A thoughtful, immersive, and truly enjoyable read.

For me to leave a review is already a stamp of approval. rarely finish books that aren’t well written. This one was different: heavier than most things I’ve read, but unique and deeply engaging. I truly enjoyed it.
